Looking at Election Results in Malibu
I am very disappointed that Mayor Larry Wan decided to resign from the Malibu City Council, but I can understand his frustration.
The new City Council should appoint Jeff Jennings, since he would be next in line, with the highest number of votes. Another alternative would be the appointment of either Mike Caggiano or Missy Zeitsoff, because of their devotion to the city and their experience on the City Council.
Any one of the three possibilities would serve us well, and they would help to represent every Malibu citizen.
The new City Council has a major project to attack at the next meeting, the new city budget. A well-rounded forum would help as we seek representation from Malibu as a united entity.
Good luck to all our newly elected representatives.
