Skyrocketing Utility Bills

Beware of landfill and desalination moves being made by crafty politicians and others. They are ignoring a financial bomb that is hanging over every city and town in the United States.

It consists of an explosion in costs one could pay for basic municipal services such as water, sewer and refuse. Don’t be surprised if the costs of utility bills triple or quadruple in the next 10 years.

The only solution to water and refuse problems is conservation and reclamation of water. A landfill on the canyons of the Broome Ranch, near Point Mugu, could serve the Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Camarillo, Malibu and Thousand Oaks area more economically than Weldon Canyon or transporting refuse outside the county at a sickening cost to refuse subscribers.
