Moonwalker to Speak of Mars Outpost Plan

Former astronaut and U.S. Sen. Harrison Schmitt, a Caltech alumnus and one of 12 people who has walked on the moon, will speak at the Caltech Alumni Assn.’s 55th Seminar Day Saturday.
Schmitt will speak on “Mission to Earth, Moon and Mars,” a project that aims to establish a permanent outpost on Mars by 2015.
