President Bush on the Rioting
Having watched the savaging carnage and heard about the senseless killings in Los Angeles, one wonders when President Bush will finally come down to Earth and start finding ways to solve our urban ills. Since a high birthrate among already poverty-stricken families pushes subsequent generations even deeper into the abyss of despair, why does our President remain so adamantly against birth control and abortion? It is difficult enough for our firefighters to douse a raging fire without having to worry about getting shot, so why is our President so strongly opposed to any sort of gun control? Should we wake up George before our entire state burns down?
