Former North Carolina State basketball coach Jim Valvano is undergoing treatment at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, a hospital spokesman said.
Valvano, 46, entered the hospital Thursday, but his condition and the nature of his treatment were not disclosed.
