Rick Helling, Darren Driefort and Jeff Granger combined on a three-hitter at Minneapolis as Team USA finally shut down Cuba, 3-0.
The Cuban national team, which had 46 runs and 54 hits in the first four games of this seven-game Olympic tuneup series, got all three hits in the first 3 2/3 innings off Helling.
Team USA is 13-6 in its 30-game warm-up tour for the Barcelona Olympics.
