The Navy claims its obsession with booting out gays is to spare the fleet disruptions to morale and military order. The Navy has it all wrong.
The only noticeable major disruptions to Navy morale and military order, as well as threats to its image, come from drunken, brawling heterosexual officers lining up helpless women in a Las Vegas hotel hallway and fondling them.
The heterosexual secretary of the Navy has lost his job as a result, and dozens of career officers can count on court-martials for their macho conduct.
And presumably not a gay among them, only heterosexuals, whose sexual preferences are considered more normal by the Pentagon.
