Ryan McGuire of UCLA was dropped from the U.S. Olympic baseball team in Millington, Tenn., and was replaced by Jason Giambi of Cal State Long Beach. In addition, Daron Kirkreit, a UC Riverside pitcher who had pitched well for Team USA before being released four weeks ago, was recalled by Coach Ron Fraser.
