The Orange County Philharmonic Society slipped slightly from a top score of 4 to 3+ in its 1992-93 review panel ranking from the California Arts Council. The dip will likely mean a smaller CAC grant for the society, which last year won $23,665. Explanations for panel scores of all groups that were ranked are expected in August.
