Rose Surrenders: As expected, rock singer W. Axl Rose surrended Tuesday in Clayton, Mo. and was booked on charges stemming from a riot at a concert last summer near St. Louis. The 30-year-old lead singer of Guns N’ Roses was escorted to the County Jail by his attorney. After being booked and processed, Rose was to be taken to the courthouse where he awaited arraignment. A prosecutor said there was no guarantee Rose would get quick attention from the judge . . . “and he won’t get any special treatment--better or worse--than anyone else.” Rose faces four counts of misdemeanor assault and one of property damage.
