PERSISTENCE: They still haven’t pulled the plug on the clinically dead presidential campaign of Larry Agran, the former mayor of Irvine. . . . Aides have been circulating petitions at the Democratic National Convention demanding time for Agran to speak, but even his home delegation provided only two signatures. . . . One was from delegation leader Richard J. O’Neill, who may have been less than serious. He was overheard on the floor chanting, “Let Perot speak!”
