Two Found Shot in Car Beside California 78

Sheriff’s deputies were investigating a shooting on California 78 in San Marcos that left two people wounded Thursday.
Deputies responding to what they believed was a traffic accident found two shooting victims in a car that had driven off California 78 near Rancheros Road and crashed, authorities said. Both victims were hospitalized, and their condition was not known.
Other details were not available about the attack, which occurred around 4:44 p.m.
