Texas Ranger pitcher Nolan Ryan is being sued by a Milwaukee-area insurance company that contends he is nearly two years late in paying a $220,000 promissory note. Northwestern National Insurance Co. of Milwaukee filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Milwaukee, alleging Ryan owes it for money he pledged to a research project.
