SPRINGBOARD: The broadcasting career of Wendy Lian Williams continues to take off. The Laguna Beach resident will co-host NBC’s “Olympic Send-Off ‘92” tonight at 7. Williams will also serve as a reporter on NBC’s diving coverage during the Olympics; she also did the Olympic trials. . . . A 1988 bronze medalist in platform diving, the Mission Viejo High School graduate figured to represent America at Barcelona. But she was forced to retire because of injuries earlier this year.
