TV of the Future: Speaking of the younger generation, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will show winning productions in its 13th annual student competition during a day of free screenings Aug. 2 at the academy’s theater in North Hollywood. Both the first-place and second-place winners in the information and entertainment categories will be screened.
