Clemson basketball assistant Len Gordy, who has been at the center of an NCAA investigation into recruiting violations at the school, resigned.
Gordy was suspended with pay on June 29 after acknowledging that he lied to NCAA investigators looking into allegations arising from a probe of the recruitment of 6-foot-9 junior center Wayne Buckingham.
