I teach Christian morality at a Catholic high school in the San Fernando Valley. Students often protest: Why should the church tell us what to do about our sex lives?
I’m a low-key but steadfast promoter of the old values: premarital chastity, marital fidelity and permanence, honor in the family. These virtues are complex and may not be possible for some. Still, they’re better than the risky, often-empty alternatives documented by Easton.
