Drain Construction May Close Streets

WHITTIER — A $570,821 contract has been awarded to R & L Sewers of Paramount for the construction of the California Avenue lateral storm drain. The drain will be located in California Avenue from Second Street to Whittier Boulevard; in Whittier Boulevard from California Avenue to Ocean View Avenue; in Second Street from California Avenue to Ocean View Avenue; and in Calmada Avenue to Whittier Boulevard.
