IT’S HOME: When Deborah Paquin told someone on a business trip that she lived in Irvine, he answered: “Irvine? Oh, I’m so sorry.” But Paquin is a huge fan of her hometown. . . . She’s one of several dozen whose essays and poetry for the city’s 20th anniversary are included in a new book put out by the Friends of Heritage Park Regional Library. It’s called “Irvine--I Call It Home.” Paquin’s closer: “Call it sterile or call it stagnant--I don’t care. I call it home!”
