Forkel Reaches Bowling Finals

Eric Forkel of Chatsworth, the leading money winner on the Professional Bowlers Assn. tour, qualified for today’s stepladder finals of the $125,000 Green Bay Classic in Green Bay, Wis.
Forkel totaled 10,142 pins for 42 games, placing him fourth. Forkel will face Bill Oakes in the opening match, which will be televised live by ESPN beginning at 4:30 p.m.
