Star-Spangled Bashing: Country singer Tanya Tucker, who is scheduled to sing the national anthem Monday on the first day of the Republican National Convention, says on tonight’s “Entertainment Tonight” that she is ready to take on Vice President Dan Quayle over family values. “Hopefully, I can change his views,” says Tucker, a single mother whose two children were born out of wedlock. She says she’d like to “get him to listen to a few of my views . . . speaking for the single mothers of America. And there’s a lot of us.” Tucker adds that if she stirs up further controversy, that’s good “because sometimes it wakes people up.” The program airs at 7 p.m. on Channel 4.
