They Have Their Own Version of the Closing Ceremony for Olympics
- Share via
I was so excited for the Olympic Games to begin that I could hardly wait. The opening ceremony was terrific and, I thought, a forerunner of super TV coverage to come. The very next day, NBC proved me wrong.
My interest is in the Olympic Games. NBC’s scant coverage of the Games, between endless commercials and showcases for its regulars (Couric and Costas), was the worst. If it was planned to drive viewers to the TripleCast, it was a poorly conceived plan for the middle of an economic recession.
I am offended that NBC presumes to make choices for me. I prefer to choose for myself, and from now on, I choose CNN.
