WATERFRONT PARK: The Long Beach City Council will consider a plan that calls for bulldozing Shoreline Aquatic Park to make way for a tourist harbor. Special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall.
COVINA COUNTRY FAIR: Includes a sidewalk sale, music, arts and crafts and a petting zoo; sponsored by the Covina Downtown Assn. Citrus Avenue, between Badillo Street and San Bernardino Road, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Free.
OLD PASADENA FESTIVAL: Featuring arts and crafts, entertainment and food booths; to raise funds for the Sycamores home for abused and emotionally disturbed boys. Colorado Boulevard between Pasadena Avenue and Arroyo Parkway; 10 a.m. to midnight Saturday. Free.
