Sophomore guard Tyus Edney missed a shot at the buzzer and UCLA lost the first game of its Italian basketball tour, 84-82, to Scavolini Pesaro at Rimini, Italy. Sophomore Ed O’Bannon scored 20 points, junior Shon Tarver had 18 points and seven steals and Edney scored 14 points against a team that reached the final of the Italian club championships last season.
