Back to School: Pepper West Inc. of Irvine has been awarded a $7.3-million contract for the construction of the School of Engineering and Computer Science addition on the campus of Cal State Northridge. The 74,265-square-foot, four-story building will house new classroom and laboratory facilities and a state-of-the-art clean room. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of next year. Pepper West is the West Coast subsidiary of the Pepper Cos. Inc., a construction firm based in Chicago.
