Fullerton Municipal Airport is seeking pilots to assist with “Eagle Flight 8,” a program for physically and developmentally disabled children and adults scheduled for Oct. 17.
The pilots take the children and adults in their aircraft for 20-minute rides. The event also features a free carnival and entertainment for the disabled and their families.
The event will last from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the airport.
Pilots volunteering their time to assist with the program must have a current private pilot’s license, a third-class medical certificate and 500 hours of total flying time.
The volunteers must also provide the plane and fuel as well as their own liability insurance.
