Democrats Set Up Shop

Campaign Headquarters--Entertainment, beer and munchies, campaign buttons, and political stump speeches will mark the opening Sunday of the United Democratic Headquarters at 50 N. Raymond Ave. in Old Pasadena.
Those expected to give speeches are Doug Kahn, who is challenging 27th Congressional District incumbent Carlos J. Moorhead (R-Glendale), state Assembly candidate Jonathan Fuhrman, who opposes Bill Hoge in the new 44th District, and state Senate candidate Rachel Dewey, who is running against 21st District incumbent Newton R. Russell (R-Glendale).
The office serves five area Democratic clubs--Arroyo, South Pasadena, San Gabriel Valley Democratic Women, San Gabriel Valley Democratic Clubs and the Democratic Club of the Pasadena Foothills--as well as four clubs from the former 38th, 41st, 42nd and 55th Assembly districts.
The celebration is from 3 to 6:30 p.m. with speeches at 4.
