Crespi 15, Serra 8--Senior tailback Torie Lee rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns in 30 carries to lead Crespi over Serra at Pierce College.
The Celts scored on their first three possessions. Lee scored on runs of one and nine yards to give Crespi a 12-0 lead. After a Serra touchdown and two-point conversion, Crespi kicker Bach Stabile added a 47-yard field goal with 23 seconds left in the first half to give Crespi a 15-8 lead.
Serra amassed 240 yards rushing in 41 attempts but was hampered by 11 penalties and two turnovers.
Serra’s best second-half drive was stopped with 5 minutes 41 seconds to play when Crespi linebacker Mike Zele recovered a fumble on the Celts’ 26-yard line.
