Grant 21, Verdugo Hills 21--Roy Rodriguez threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Sandro Perez, and Rodriguez then ran for the two-point conversion with 2 minutes 40 seconds remaining as Grant escaped with a tie.
Rodriguez completed six of 16 passes for 80 yards.
Ilan Silverman rushed for 112 yards in 10 carries to lead Grant, and teammate Alex Rose gained 65 yards in five carries.
Ishmael Dukes had 96 yards and two touchdowns in 20 carries for Verdugo Hills.
