Canoga Park 20, Taft 19--Running back Rashad Vaughn rushed 29 times for 118 yards and scored two second-half touchdowns to lead the Hunters’ comeback victory at home.

Vaughn’s winning score in the final two minutes capped a run of 17 points.

Leading, 13-3, at the half behind the running of Jerry Brown (164 yards, two touchdowns in 20 carries), Taft seemed to have the game in hand after Brown ran 70 yards for a score at the start of the second half.

But the Hunters turned fumble recoveries by Keith Jardine and Phillip Daffield into a one-yard touchdown by Vaughn and a 30-yard field goal by David Kreider.
