Lietzke Fond of Course, Up by 4

Bruce Lietzke parlayed a favorite golf course and an exceptional effort into a four-stroke lead Friday at the halfway point of the Canadian Open.
Lietzke shot a bogey-free round of 64 at Oakville, Ontario, on a day marked by chilly winds.
On only three holes did he leave the ball more than 15 feet from the flag. And on one of those three, his ball hit the putting surface 12 feet from the pin, then spun back.
Lietzke, seeking his third victory in this national championship, completed 36 holes in 135, nine under par on the Jack Nicklaus-designed course.
Greg Norman and PGA champion Nick Price, whose careers have moved in opposite directions in recent months, shared second at 139.
