El Toro 21, University 1--Daniel Mathot scored seven goals and Brandon Stout had five for visiting El Toro (1-0), the No. 1-ranked team in Orange County.
Trabuco Hills 10, La Habra 4--Brian Martz had five goals and Ryan Thacher had four for Trabuco Hills (4-1).
Los Alamitos 9, Glendale 7--Eric Ploessel had three goals for host Los Alamitos (1-0).
Los Amigos 9, Canyon 6--Drew Douglas scored seven goals for Los Amigos.
San Clemente 10, Foothill 5--Tim Hornig and Bryce Matthews each scored three goals for host San Clemente, the third-ranked team in the county. Goalie Alden Weaver had 15 saves for fifth-ranked Foothill (0-1).
Sunny Hills 9, Mission Viejo 6--Carlo Franzia had three goals and goalie Eric Teti had 19 saves for host Sunny Hills (1-1) at Independence Park.
Esperanza 13, Tustin 8--Brandon Martinez scored four goals for visiting Esperanza (2-0), which scored seven goals in the second quarter to take a 9-5 halftime lead.
