Marshall 35, Grant 7--Aman Abye scored three touchdowns, including one on a 54-yard pass from Shane Gerard on the game’s first play from scrimmage, as the visiting Barristers improved to 2-0.
Abye also scored on a two-run yard in the second quarter and on a 62-yard pass from Gerard in the third. He finished with three receptions for 140 yards. Gerard completed eight of 11 passes for 252 yards and three touchdowns.
Grant (0-1-1) got its only touchdown when backup quarterback Raymond Singleton threw a six-yard first-quarter pass to Sandro Perez.
