BURIED SEED: Garden Grove’s Robin Bell had won almost every prestigious tournament in women’s billiards--except the U.S. Open. Sunday, she added that one. The final match in Norfolk, Va., was down to Bell, ranked No. 2 in the U.S., and the No. 1 rank. What happened to the top seed? “I buried her,” Bell says meekly. . . . She jokes about Monday’s celebration: “I took the kids to school.” Bell is a single mother with three sons.
