Air Canada Postpones Boeing Order: Air Canada has pushed back its order for four Boeing 767 airplanes worth $400 million because of the “worldwide downturn in the airline industry.” The Montreal-based airline will buy the four planes--but in late 1995 or early 1996, not as originally scheduled in the second half of 1993, Air Canada officials said. The airline will take delivery of two additional Boeing 767 airplanes in 1993, but officials said they will be put up for sale immediately.
