Electric Bus Line’s Effect On Los Feliz
In response to the opponents of the proposed electric bus line through the Los Feliz area.
What is more unsightly than smog-spewing, graffiti-scrawled buses along Los Feliz Boulevard, as well as weekend bumper-to-bumper traffic going to Griffith Park.
Trimming 22 deodar trees, three inches or less, out of 162 does not seem drastic. Nor do lines to direct the electricity to the proposed buses seem unsightly, especially if existing wiring is utilized.
I don’t quite understand the “affluent residents” of Los Feliz opposing something that might clear up the smog so prevalent in this area, as well as lessen the traffic through this beautiful area of the city.
I believe the so called “affluent residents” must reside between Vermont and Western Avenues, which is a minor length of the proposed electric bus line from Hollywood to Glendale and possibly Burbank.
