LANCASTER : City Open House Scheduled Saturday

The city of Lancaster will hold open house at all downtown municipal buildings on Saturday, offering tours, demonstrations and other activities.
City Hall, the Performing Arts Center, Western Hotel Museum, Museum-Art Gallery, Cedar Street Theater, Lancaster Old Town site offices and Fire Station 33 will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A hospital bed race will be held about 11 a.m. in the parking lot of City Hall.
Also scheduled is a bicycle safety program for children ages 6 to 12 at City Hall, and potting and thread-spinning demonstrations at the Western Hotel Museum.
Volunteer musicians will play at the Performing Arts Center, and basic drawing lessons will be given in the parking lot of the Museum-Art Gallery.
A 12-passenger van will provide transportation between the sites.
