The Philippine Bar Assn. condemned Little League Baseball International for stripping a Philippine team of the Little League World Series title and awarding it to a team from Long Beach without due process.

“Without any protest from any team, and without any hearing, it stripped our team of its world title,” the group said in a statement. “In effect, the tournament committee acted as accuser, investigator, prosecutor and judge--all rolled into one.”
