IN BRIEF : Junior Hunters to Get a Chance at Pheasants

Junior hunters will be able to hunt pheasant at Modoc National Wildlife Refuge this fall, but only with reservations. Applications will be accepted by mail through Oct. 15. Hunting will be restricted to the first three Sundays of the general pheasant season.
Only hunters possessing valid California junior hunting licenses may apply. Up to four hunters may apply together as a party, but only one application is permitted per person, whether applying as an individual or as a member of a party.
