OJAI : Molester of Girl, 3, Sought by Police

Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies said Friday they are looking for a man who abducted a 3-year-old girl in his car last week, sexually molested her, and dropped her off in another part of the city.
The child said the man coaxed her into a white car just before noon Sept. 25 in the 200 block of Shady Lane, deputies said. The man took her to an unknown location where he molested her, then dropped her off in the 500 block of Carne Road at about 12:30 p.m., deputies said.
Deputies said the child’s mother reported her missing before a resident on Carne Road notified authorities that she had found a child.
They said there was physical evidence the child had been molested, but they would not elaborate.
