Barnes Leads Trabuco Hills Past Las Vegas Bishop Gorman, 17-13

LAS VEGAS — Pat Barnes threw two touchdown passes to lead Trabuco Hills to a 17-13 nonleague victory over Las Vegas Bishop Gorman on Friday night at Bishop Gorman.
Barnes completed 12 of 32 passes for 227 yards. He also had 38 yards rushing.
His 27-yard touchdown pass to Cordell Graham gave Trabuco Hills a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. The Mustangs (4-0) led at halftime, 10-0.
Bishop Gorman (3-2) cut the score to 10-7 in the third quarter. But Barnes clinched the victory with a 44-yard touchdown pass to Matt Rechner.
Rechner caught four passes for 103 yards.
