FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Advisory About Scheduled Freeway Work Areas

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Carson: No. 3 lane of the eastbound Artesia Freeway (91) connector to the southbound Harbor Freeway (110); 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday; electrical repairs.

2. Cerritos: Westbound No. 3 lane from Gridley Avenue to Studebaker Road undercrossing, including Studebaker Road off-ramp; 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; mudjacking.

3. Cerritos: Bloomfield Avenue on-ramp and Norwalk boulevard off-ramp to the westbound Artesia Freeway (91); 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

4. Bell: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Slauson Avenue to Florence Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; guardrail repair.

5. Commerce: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Washington Boulevard to Slauson Avenue underpass; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; jersey wall repair.

ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD (19)

6. Pico Rivera: Northbound No. 2 lane from Gallatin Road to San Gabriel Boulevard; 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday; pot hole repair.

7. Pico Rivera: Southbound No. 2 lane from San Gabriel Boulevard to Gallatin Road; 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; pot hole repair.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

8. Carson: No. 2 lane of the southbound San Diego Freeway (405) connector to the southbound Harbor Freeway (110); 9 a.m. to noon Thursday; electrical repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

9. Downey: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lane from Firestone Boulevard to Florence Avenue; 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; jersey wall repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

10. East Los Angeles: Southbound No. 5 lane from Ditman Avenue to southbound Long Beach Freeway (710), including Ditman Avenue on-ramp and Olympic Boulevard off-ramp; 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

11. East Los Angeles: Triggs Street on-ramp to the southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5); 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

12. Various Cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Artesia Boulevard to Indiana Street; 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; sweeping.
