Camarillo 22, Channel Islands 0--Fahali Campbell rushed for 131 yards in 27 carries and scored the game’s only offensive touchdown on a 65-yard pass from Richard Jaramillo to lead host Camarillo.

Camarillo (4-1, 2-0) held Channel Islands (2-3, 0-2) to minus-six yards.

Linebacker John Freedman spearheaded the Camarillo defense and accounted for the team’s final points by sacking quarterback Cesar Puga for a safety. Defensive back Robert Smith added Camarillo’s other touchdown on a 31-yard interception return in the final minute of the first half.
