L.A. Harbor 34, Valley 32--Harbor improved to 4-0 on the strength of 287 all-purpose yards from running back Ira Moreland.
Moreland carried 25 times for 213 yards and a touchdown. He also caught four passes from quarterback Gabe Sadi for 74 yards--including a 61-yard reception in the third quarter which set up go-ahead 36-yard field goal by Jon Williams.
Sadi completed 12 of 27 passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns.
Late in the fourth quarter, the Monarchs drew to within two points after blocking a punt and recovering the ball deep in Seahawk territory.
On the following play, Monarch quarterback Joe Mauldin ran 15 yards for a touchdown, then added a two-point conversion, bringing the score to 34-32.
