Hilton Hotels Corp. said its third-quarter earnings rose 21%, citing better results at Nevada casinos and airport hotels that prospered from air fare wars.
In the period ended Sept. 30, Hilton earned $22.8 million, or 48 cents per share, compared to $18.8 million, or 39 cents per share, a year earlier.
Revenue rose 17%, from $275.1 million to $323 million.
