Passing interest: Trabuco Hills quarterback Pat Barnes, one of the top college recruits in Orange County, will begin taking recruiting visits in December, but he hasn’t decided to which schools.
Barnes is being recruited by several Pac-10 schools, as well as Colorado and Texas. He has thrown for eight touchdowns and run for five in leading the Mustangs to a 5-0 start.
“Right now, I’m just concerned with the (Trabuco Hills) team,” Barnes said. “This (season) is my first priority right now.”
As far as college choices: “I like Stanford and Notre Dame. They’re my dream schools right now. It has been my dream to go to either one.”
