Blyden S. Boyle, 66,

pharmacist and businessman

Incumbent--on board for nine years. Member of the board of directors for Santa Monica Boys and Girls Club, and the National Conference of Christians and Jews. Past board member of Palisades and Santa Monica YMCAs.

Pat Nichelson, 50,

trustee/university professor

Incumbent--on board five years. Has taught religion, humanities and women’s studies at Cal State Northridge for 22 years. Current president of statewide union representing Cal State faculty.

Ilona Jo Katz, 59, Santa Monica College trustee

Incumbent--15 years on board. Director of California Community College Trustees Assn. Member of State Teachers’ Credentials Committee.
