Tagatauli’s Touchdowns Spark Los Amigos

GARDEN GROVE — Noah Tagatauli rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns to lead Los Amigos to a 34-10 Garden Grove League victory over Bolsa Grande at Garden Grove High Thursday night.
Tagatauli scored on runs of 32, two and 11 yards for Los Amigos (4-1-2, 3-0-1 in league).
After Tagatauli’s first touchdown, the Matadors (0-7, 0-4) tied the score on a nine-yard scoring pass from Brian Baughman to Tony Alcorn on a play set up by a 62-yard pass from Baughman to Carlos Martinez.
Los Amigos broke open the game in the third quarter. Quarterback Ape Tuato took a fumbled snap and ran 11 yards for a touchdown and Tagatauli scored his third touchdown of the game to give the Lobos a 28-7 lead at the end of the third quarter.
The Lobos’ defense recorded seven sacks in holding Bolsa Grande to minus-13 yards on the ground. Baughman completed nine passes for 153 yards for the Matadors.
