Nordhoff 48, Santa Clara 6--Adam Blundell rushed for 50 yards in nine carries and scored two touchdowns to lead Nordhoff at home. Nordhoff (6-1, 2-0) had four sacks and two interceptions.
Nordhoff built a 21-0 halftime lead after starting all three drives in Santa Clara territory. The Saints didn’t get into Nordhoff territory until late in the third quarter.
Santa Clara (2-5, 0-2) scored on an eight-yard run by Paul Soliz.
