Congressional Races

Reps. Duncan Hunter, Randy (Duke) Cunningham and Robert K. (Fightin’ Fool) Dornan are simply an embarrassment regardless of party. Voters can put a stop to their slanderous remarks in Congress, where they do not need to prove the truthfulness of their remarks, and can not be held accountable through libel but only through the votes of citizens on Nov. 3.
“They ought to be lined up and shot--I’m talking about the liberal leadership.” This was a solution for Democratic colleagues for (Duke) Cunningham. Hunter and Dornan have suggested that Bill Clinton committed treason during the Vietnam War and even suggested that the 40-day Scandanavian/Moscow trip that Clinton took as a Rhodes Scholar while attending Oxford University in 1970 was somehow wrong.
These men can do this on the House floor without contradiction and without regard to standards of libel or slander and enjoy coverage by C-SPAN, which carries congressional proceedings live.
These three congressmen should be retired.
